The Cam M14 rotary polisher adapter is a machined steel adapter designed to create clearance between the rotary polisher and the polishing pad. This spacer ensures the machine's spindle thread doesn't protrude through the pad and contact the surface being polished — a common issue when using double-sided pads and other thicker pad types.
Cam M14 Polisher Backing Plate Spacer:
- Creates essential clearance between the polisher body and pad — prevents machine contact with the work surface
- Stops the M14 spindle thread from protruding through the pad, protecting paintwork and delicate surfaces
