The Rupes RH353A Skorpio III is engineered for ultra-fine finishing work. With a precision 3mm orbit — the tightest in the Skorpio III range — the RH353A produces a fine, controlled scratch pattern that makes it the definitive choice for final clear coat flatting, P320+ abrasive work, and surface preparation for machine polishing. When finish quality is the priority and no heavy sanding scratches can be introduced, this is the tool to reach for.
The 3mm orbit excels in the later stages of any sanding sequence. Its tight path removes surface imperfections and refines a panel to a point-perfect base for compound and polish, without the coarser scratch marks that wider-orbit sanders leave behind. Preferred by professional detailers and refinishers working through final grits before polishing.
