The Rupes RH359A Skorpio III is the most aggressive sander in the Skorpio III range. With a wide 9mm orbit — the largest available in this lineup — the RH359A removes material up to 50% faster than the 3mm model, making it the right tool when speed is critical. Large panel areas, heavy body filler work, aggressive primer flatting, and rapid multi-grit progression: the RH359A powers through it all faster than any other Skorpio III.
The 9mm orbit is optimised for the early stages of a sanding sequence, working through P120–P320 quickly and efficiently before stepping down to finer grits or finishing with the RH356A or RH353A. Used correctly as part of a complete Skorpio III system, the 9mm dramatically reduces total sanding time on large jobs. When time on the job costs money, this is your tool.
