Description
The COLOURLOCK Leather Sanding Pad has the perfect grit rating for leather and Alcantara and is ideal for:
Smoothing rough areas before applying leather fresh dyes
Cleaning greasy areas on nubuck and suede
Careful sanding during professional colouring in the workshop
Removing Pilling or matted fibres from Alcantara (See video below)
Unlike traditional grit sandpapers these pads will not shed any grit particles that can become embedded into the surface.
Application
Leather: Sand the leather gently with the pad in a circular motion. Avoid gouging and deep scratches. Both faces of the pad can be used. It can be washed out with water.
Alcantara: First clean and dry the Alcantara, then use the sanding pad to rub over the surface, you will see the matted fibres ball up and fall off revealing a smooth fresh surface. After sanding clean again with Colourlock Alcantara cleaner and a cloth
