OPTiX Dual Action Polisher Backing Plates
This backing pad with cooling holes has a sturdy hook and loop bottom that can be used with a variety of pads like foam pads, microfiber pads, wool pads, etc. This velcro backing plate is supplied with standard 5/16”-24 male threads and will fit DA polishers like the Detail Logix DL15, DL8 and the OPTiX OPDA15PRO. Backing plate has holes designed for cooling, it could minimizes heat with cool air while the plate is spinning from top ports and side slots. Perfect for sanding and buffing applications. Each backing plate is held together with 6 steel pins and the hook and loop material is firmly bonded in place, ensuring you’ll get maximum durability.
The backing plate is made of high-quality PU material. The design reduces clogging during sanding, keeps abrasive working time longer, and reduces heat build up.
It is a flexible backing plate ideal for all brands of dual action polishing machines with 5/16"-24 diameter thread. Perfect compatibility with your favourite foam, wool and microfibre pads.
High quality hook & loop which can be used for more than 10000 times. Vented design offers fresh air to easily cool backing plate and extended durability.
The 75mm (3 inch) diameter backing plate screws into most DA machines.
We highly recommend this to convert your 8mm or 15mm DA polisher to run 3-4inch pads.
This will also fit the Detail Logix DA polisher (DL15 & DL8)
