OPTiX D-Bug (Insect and Bug Remover)

Do you have bugs and splatters on your front bumper? Your grills? Your bonnet? OPTiX D-Bug is a ready-to-use fast acting insect/bug remover that is made in Perth, Western Australia. This is a go-to product to get rid of those gross bugs and splatters before they subsequently do more damage to your paint.

Use This Bug Remover To:

• Eliminate the bugs that are stuck onto the paint
• Dissolve the splatter off the surface of the paint
• Ultimately stops the bugs from staining
• Avoids rough scrubbing to minimise scratching

Act fast with OPTiX D-Bug

Over a period of time, the dead bugs and the splatter on your paint can eventually lead to staining and etching. If staining occurs, you may need to machine polish the car. We recommend (with logic) that you act fast when your car picks up bugs and splatters so you minimise the affects of it, especially within summer.

How To Use It:

1. Rinse the insect affected area preferably with a pressure cleaner in a cool shaded environment.
2. Spray OPTiX D-Bug onto the bug infested area and allow to soak for 10-30 seconds. Do not allow to dry on the surface. Spray more water to keep the surface wet if required.
3. Rinse the treated surface with a pressure cleaner or garden hose.
4. For stubborn areas it is best to apply a second spray of D-Bug and now start hand washing with your wash mitt before rinsing again.
5. Repeat the above if they remain persistent.

What To Do If Staining Occurs?

It is normal that bug splatter may cause staining onto the surface from paint to PPF or other materials. If staining occurs the next step is to use mild polishes and in some cases aggressive polishes.

Protection For The Future

It is recommended that a wax/sealant or hydrophobic spray is applied over the surface after using OPTiX D-Bug to keep the area protected.

This Is An Alkaline Product

OPTiX D-Bug is an alkaline-based product and of course, means it is not pH neutral. Please consider this before use on surfaces such as alloy finishes any other surfaces that require a pH neutral product.
